North Ryde RSL Junior Baseball Club plays against teams competing in the Ryde Hawks Association across the following formats:
T-Ball
Ages 4–7
T-Ball is the perfect introduction to baseball for young players. Instead of a pitcher throwing the ball, the batter hits the ball from a batting tee, allowing children to focus on learning the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, catching and running the bases.
The emphasis is on fun, participation and building confidence in a supportive team environment. No prior experience is required, making T-Ball an ideal starting point for new players.

Games run for 1 hour.
Coach Pitch
Ages 8–9
Coach Pitch is the next step in a player's baseball journey. In this format, a coach kneels at the pitcher's plate and gently tosses the ball for the batter to hit. This helps players develop their batting skills while continuing to learn the rules and strategies of the game.
Players begin to experience a more structured game environment while still receiving support and encouragement as they develop their skills.

Games run for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Live Pitch Baseball
Ages 9 and above
Live Pitch introduces players to the full game of baseball, with players pitching to opposing batters and all aspects of the game played under standard baseball rules. As players move through the age groups, they continue to develop their hitting, fielding, pitching and game awareness skills in an increasingly competitive environment.
To ensure the game remains appropriate for each age and stage of development, both the size of the playing diamond and game conditions vary across divisions. Younger players begin on smaller diamonds that allow them to build confidence and develop fundamental skills, before progressing to larger fields and more advanced rules as they grow.
